I fell in love with this donut shop on the way home from church about a year ago. I remember because it was during Lent and I was abstaining from sweets but noticed it en route. I told myself to check it out later and I did. It quickly became my after church routine.
One day, I made the conscious effort to bring in donuts to the office. Let me share this little piece of Gwinnett to my coworkers in Atlanta, I must have thought. So I did. And they must have loved it because two dozen assorted donuts were gone before lunchtime.
I brought Donut Worry donuts into the office two more times before I left my job in Midtown. Every time, I was delighted to tell a coworker about the donut shop and how I stumbled upon it. Because of that, one of my coworkers will stop by the restaurant on the way to her mom’s house.
I’m glad I was able to share this place with people that otherwise wouldn’t have known anything about the eatery. I believe that’s the point of this blog—good food should be shared.
Donut Worry is a quaint, family-run restaurant right beyond Rhodes Jordan Park. Open every day except Monday, the restaurant offers several breakfast and lunch choices. I haven’t had the chance to enjoy their sandwiches, soups or salads, but I’m quite familiar with their kolaches, breakfast burritos, and iced coffees. All are worth the drive.
If you’re in the Lawrenceville/Dacula area, stop by and treat your coworkers to Donut Worry. And if you live elsewhere, make the trip. You won’t be disappointed.
